Behavioural leadership skills assessment
CHPD’s own research has proven the link between 11 leadership behaviours and high performance. We assess these High Performance Behaviours (HPBs) using:
- 360 degree HPB questionnaire – a leadership skills management assessment based on a leader’s use of the high performance behaviours
- Work-shadowing - A CHPD accredited consultant observes an individual in a number of situations during their regular working day to obtain an objective assessment of their use of the High Performance Behaviours in real life situations. This is a particularly effective method for participants (especially senior staff) who cannot afford to be away from their desk.
- Simulations - Individuals are observed by accredited CHPD consultants running a simulated business. CHPD’s simulations are specifically designed to challenge the individuals across a number of different situations which give them the opportunity to demonstrate the high performance behaviours in a business environment.
Psychometric leadership skill assessment
We have also developed a number of management assessment tools for personality, style and ability. These products are not available anywhere else and include:
- Leadership Orientations Questionnaire (LOQ) – online, self-report questionnaire to help individuals and organisations identify the best fit between personality and critical roles
- Sales Orientation Questionnaire (SOQ) - online, self-report questionnaire which focuses on those preferences which have been correlated with high performing sales people
- Leadership Styles – two leadership assessment tools combine to identify a leader’s strongest style: the business leader, the crisis manager, the team strategist or the entrepreneur.
- Personal Stress Questionnaire (PSQ) - online, self report questionnaire to assess an individual's natural susceptibility to stress and help them recognise and deal with their stress responses.
