Rob Ball

Rob has over 12 years' international experience in developing and coaching leaders at all levels from graduates through to executives for a wide range of blue chip organisations.  His original training was as a civil engineer and he has worked with a variety of engineering organisations around the world.

Rob's highly pragmatic approach means that his coaching has a strong business focus. He ensures that coachees are able to use the outputs from their sessions quickly in order to improve their own and others’ performance.

Rob has worked on the development and assessment of individuals and teams against a wide range of competency frameworks and often uses psychometric and 360 degree diagnostics tools when working as a coach in order to increase self awareness.

Rob has a degree in Civil Engineering and is accredited in the use of CHPD’s High Performance Behaviours and related psychometric tools. On leaving school he attended The Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst prior to serving as an officer for ten years in a variety of leadership roles.  Prior to joining CHPD Rob was the commercial director of a manufacturing company and has considerable experience in major account management, sales management and cross border project management. He is a Member of the Association for Coaching (MAC).
