Executive Leadership Programme
To help the Middle East develop high performing leaders, the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce has partnered with one of the world's top leadership development consultancies, the Centre for High Performance Development (CHPD). Together, they have designed two pioneering programmes to provide business leaders with highly targeted, validated and inspirational leadership development.
There are two core offerings within the ABCC/CHPD Executive Leadership Programme. The content of the respective offerings is detailed below:
Emerging leaders programme (UK-based)
The emerging leaders programme is targeted at individuals with high potential for leadership. These may either be first time managers or supervisors. The focus of the first phase of this programme will be to provide participants with a complete range of diagnostics, so that they may fully understand their leadership preference, capability and development needs. A significant element of this first phase will be spent running a ‘business’ for a day that will test leadership capability to the full. A set of detailed reports will be provided supported by in-depth one-to-one feedback with our accredited consultants. A detailed development plan will also be created.
The focus of phase two will be around learning; using action learning to understand, test and develop leadership capability in the areas of strategic thinking and inspirational leadership. The workshops will reinforce and provide support to the personal development plans constructed in the first phase of the programme.
This is an outstanding opportunity to learn about personal leadership preferences capability in dynamic, complex environments, receive in depth feedback and commence a learning journey around some of the key behaviours required for
success.

Participants who successfully complete the emerging executive leadership programme will receive the ABCC Leadership Diploma.
Senior leaders programme (locally-based)
This programme is for top business leaders, or for those with considerable experience looking to make the move into senior executive leadership roles. It includes a high degree of one-to-one interaction (coaching) to ensure that individual needs are fully addressed. This programme will be delivered as and when the individual requires it. A key element of the programme is likely to be the work shadowing of the participant in their own organisational environment by one of our highly experienced and accredited consultants. Detailed feedback will be provided and a personal development plan constructed.
Participants who successfully complete the senior executive leadership programme will receive the ABCC Leadership Diploma of Excellence.
All elements of the executive leadership programme have been designed by CHPD to enable participants to understand and build their strategic and operational leadership preferences and capabilities. The programmes are very practical and individually focused and will incorporate design principles that CHPD has refined through decades of research and practice, and which organisational psychologists have conclusively shown to be effective in building leadership skills.
CHPD’s long history of working globally across cultures, coupled with the innovative partnering with ABCC means the two programmes will be totally tailored to local circumstances and cultures. Furthermore, the action-learning based approaches of CHPD and ABCC differentiates our offering from other executive education programmes. This means the skills learned can be applied immediately, and the feedback received on current performance is highly relevant to performance today.

Fees
Fees for the core elements of the Executive Leadership Programme are displayed below. Please note these fees exclude personal travel and accommodation.
Emerging leaders: £4,400 per delegate
Additional workshops: £1,100 per delegate (2 days)
Senior leaders: range from £8k - £10k per delegate (based on work shadow and six coaching sessions)
Reductions are available for organisations putting three or more participants on the programme. ABCC members also receive a 5% fee reduction. Advance payment is required.

In addition, CHPD has extensive global experience of running developmental programmes for women in leadership or women aspiring to be leaders. If numbers permit we will run a women-only emerging leaders programme.
