CHPD helps out charities

This month, CHPD ran a leadership skills workshop as part of Give and Gain Day 2009 (12 June 2009). Ten entrepreneurs from third sector organisations came together to learn more about objective setting, giving feedback, driving strategy and getting the most out of their volunteers.

Kieran Colville and Rob Ball from CHPD ran the workshop. Kieran explains how it went: "We tailored the day very specifically to the needs of the third sector. Every delegate completed a number of online questionnaires about their leadership preferences and behaviours in advance of the workshop and then we used a combination of interactive learning, coaching, networking and role play to help them develop their skills.  The feedback has been amazing."
