CHPD managing director becomes CEO of Capital H Group
Jim Tapper’s role as managing director of the Centre for High Performance Development (CHPD) has been extended to chief executive of Capital H Group, CHPD’s US parent company.
The announcement comes as CHPD and Capital H Group move towards a more unified approach. Keith Swenson, managing partner for the US organisation explains: “Since the acquisition in October 2007, the two businesses have worked collaboratively but independently. Recently, we began to merge our back office functions and now believe the time is right for our management structure to reflect a single company operation.”
According to Jim Tapper, the two company names will remain for the time being as they both have strong recognition in their respective markets. Tapper continues: “The combined CHPD and Capital H Group offerings place us in a very strong position in the market. Being able to consider leadership development alongside organisational change will help address many of the challenges our clients are facing.”
Capital H Group president Dr. Tony Cockerill and CHPD chairman Chris Parry indicated: “We are delighted that Jim will be serving in this new role overseeing our combined organisation. He is well suited to assume this role based on his prior management experience and background.”
Jim Tapper succeeds former CEO Greg Silich who has decided to leave Capital H Group.
