Exclusive CHPD seminar: Managing talent through turbulent times
The Centre for High Performance Development (CHPD) will present a leadership seminar on why the development and investment in leaders is critical to sustaining business performance during periods of downsizing and compromised growth.
Founder of the Centre, Dr Tony Cockerill, will present on the behaviours proven to positively contribute to business performance and how to develop these behaviours in your people.
Reflecting on the challenges faced by organisations today, Dr Cockerill has commented:
"When I began my research in this area, I wanted to find out what it is about leaders that makes the difference between high performing and average performing organisations. Today's global business environment does not allow for trial and error when it comes to leadership. Organisations must get it right the first time."
We have a limited number of free places available for Leadership club members at a seminar being organised by CHPD. The seminar will look at what organisations can do to effectively manage their talent in times of economic downturn. To register your interest in attending the event, which will take place in central London on 26th September 2008, email leadershipworkshop@chpd.com.
